Adhering to our rules means fostering an atmosphere of trust and collaboration, where everyone can enjoy their storylines, characters, and interactions to the fullest. We encourage all members to familiarize themselves with these rules and to treat them as essential tools for crafting realistic and memorable experiences. Together, we create a server where everyone’s enjoyment and commitment to roleplay are respected and valued.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The server rules are applicable to the in-game server and any affiliated Discord of the OffSzn RP community.

OffSzn RP is an 18+ server and an English based server. As a result, it requires you to have some understanding of the English language. You are required to have a functional microphone with decent quality to ensure that other players are able to interact with you.

Members of the staff team reserve the right to take disciplinary action towards any player found to be in violation of both written and unwritten regulatory guidelines at their own discretion.

Conduct that has been deemed inappropriate, destructive, malicious, or unfitting within the server will result in actions ranging from a permanent ban to a community removal.

SERVER RULE ENFORCEMENT

Any violation of the server rules can result in any disciplinary action. Our administrative team has complete discretion over the enforcement of these rules.

You can appeal bans using our ticket system in the Discord. Reductions and revokes of bans can only be done by your banning admin or senior staff. Do not direct message staff for support or server questions. Use our ticket system. If you are in-game, do a /report.

For serious offenses such as hacking, cheating, excessive toxicity, exploiting, malicious activity, being a detriment to the community and/or server head discretion issues - an automatic permanent ban will be issued.

If you suspect suspicious behavior from another player, please report it immediately. Being found with suspicious items in your possession and not reporting it, will be considered the same as cheating.

You should remain respectful to the player base as everyone is here to have fun and a good time. Engaging in acts of malice with the sole purpose to annoy or upset others will result in consequences. Examples of this would be but is not limited to:

S3 - CHARACTER CONDUCT

3.1 - CHARACTER & EFFORT - Your roleplay within the server should be unique to your own character. Roleplay is give and take, your priority should be to make it enjoyable for others so that they return the favor and make it enjoyable for yourself. Refrain from blending the lives of your characters. You may only have one character in a criminal group or gang.

3.2 - VALUE OF LIFE - Your character should always value their life. Should your character be threatened by another through weaponry or severe physical harm, they are always to fear for their life. If held at gunpoint, you are to comply with the instructions given. Always apply common sense to any interactions within this category.

3.3 - PVP ROLEPLAY - You are prohibited from engaging in acts and interactions that have the intent of resembling player versus player (PVP). Upon completing the interaction, you are to vacate the area and leave the individual unharmed unless they intentionally provoke or threaten you.

5.3 - ROBBERY LOCATION - Do not engage in the robbery of individuals currently in a clothing, trucking, ATM or business menu. This is not permitted as there is little to no counter.

If you are in the vicinity of a hostile interaction, you should not be spectating as that is considered interfering.

S8 - FRAUDULENT CONDUCT

8.1 - LOW EFFORT SCAMMING - While scamming and fraudulent conduct within character and roleplay are generally allowed, any and all scams against another individual or business must be carried out with considerable effort to constitute a reasonable roleplay experience for both parties.

8.2 - CURRENCY TRADING, TEBEX & GIVEAWAYS - You are not allowed to engage in the trading of virtual currency and valuables for real life currencies and vice-versa. Taking part in this kind of conduct produces a set of risks and creates an illegitimate market that negatively affects the economy.

9.4 - EARLY REPORTING - If you believe that rules have been broken, you are required to wait for the conclusion of the situation before bringing evidence into a ticket. Scenes can be replayed and rendered void, but stopping an active interaction is not allowed.

S10 - VIOLENT CONDUCT

10.1 - RANDOM DEATHMATCH (RDM) - Randomly attacking other individuals is strictly prohibited. Any violent interaction requires initiation and appropriate reason. Hitman roleplay should be avoided and can be classified as RDM in certain circumstances.

10.2 - VEHICLE DEATHMATCH (VDM) - You are prohibited from using your vehicle intentionally as a weapon to injure others. Engaging players with a vehicle will be considered vehicle deathmatch, as there are very few circumstances where injuring others with a vehicle is permitted. Avoid using vehicles to consistently ram others with the intent to grief or troll.

10.3 - INITIATION - You must give your target indication and proper initiation that you are intending on engaging in criminal/violent interactions and a chance for them to respond to it. As the initiating party it is your responsibility to audibly inform the other side of your intentions. Do not kill someone without them knowing that combat is being initiated.

Shooting someone from afar because they were hostile toward you in an earlier scene does not constitute initiation. You must re-initiate any hostile engagement.

Any player found to not be complying with the event's green zone will be removed, blacklisted from future events and/or disciplined accordingly. This rule is not applicable to business hosted events.

The following section G rules are applicable to all members involved in a whitelisted gang. Failure to abide by any of the rules will risk all members of a gang losing their gang status or even earning subsequent server bans.

G1 - CRIMINAL GROUPS

G1.1 - CRIMINAL GROUP TYPES - There are 4 types of whitelisted criminal organizations: Street Gangs, Motorcycle Clubs (MCs), Mafias, and Drug Cartels. Each type of organization operates slightly differently and each organization type is equipped with its own unique perks. However, the following rules apply to all whitelisted criminal organizations.

G1.2 - CRIMINAL GROUP REQUIREMENTS - All members involved with a criminal group must be whitelisted. Each group can have a maximum of 20 members + 1 leader total. All members of any whitelisted crime group must have a full understanding of the server rules. Your group must be approved by a server head via application to become an official criminal organization.

G1.3 - CRIMINAL GROUP MEMBERSHIP - You can only have one character in a criminal organization. You cannot have multiple different characters in rival groups. If you leave or are removed from a whitelisted crime group, you must wait 5 days before joining a whitelisted criminal organization again. Members of PD who hold a rank of Lieutenant+ or are involved in the CID unit cannot have a character in a whitelisted gang or criminal organization.

G1.4 - CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION ROSTER - The organization leader is responsible for keeping their group’s roster up to date. The member must be listed on the roster to be considered a part of the criminal organization and participate in roleplay with the group. If the individual is not on the roster, they are not to be identified (G2.1) as a member of your group and are prohibited to be involved in criminal organization conflict.

G1.5 - ALLIANCES - Alliances between any crime groups are not allowed, even those of different types. Organizations can do mutual business together, however alliances for combat and conflict are not allowed in any situation. Criminal Organizations cannot team up with another gang or group. Your conflict should only involve the organization’s members and the opposing party. Teaming together is the deliberate attempt to act as a team and assist each other. This is on a situation basis and is at the discretion of the Admin.

G1.6 - NUMBERS - Initiating or participating in any hostile or aggressive interaction may only be done with up to 8 players. All gang vs. police scenes, police are to be an overwhelming force meaning they can exceed 8 LEOs where needed. Crimboard activities must follow the displayed amounts.

G2 - CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION REPRESENTATION

G2.1 - IDENTIFICATION - Criminal Organization members are required to wear their color or designated identifiers anytime they initiate any criminal organization roleplay.

G2.2 - STREET GANG IDENTIFICATION - Street Gang Members must be wearing their gang's color in the form of a prominent colored mask or flag and at least one other piece of clothing. The gang’s designated color must be present on at least these 2 articles of clothing and be clearly identifiable from the front and back.

G2.3 - MOTORCYCLE CLUB IDENTIFICATION - Motorcycle Club Members must be wearing their cuts that are visible from the front and back.

G2.4 - MAFIA IDENTIFICATION - Mafia Members must be wearing their group’s colors in the form of a prominent colored mask and at least one other piece of colored formal attire. Formal attire includes clothes such as dresses, suit jackets, suit pants, ties, mafia-appropriate hats, etc. The Mafia’s designated color must be clearly visible on at least these 2 articles of clothing and be identifiable from the front and back.

G2.1 - DRUG CARTEL IDENTIFICATION - Drug Cartel Members must wear their cartel’s color in the form of a prominent colored mask and at least one other piece of clothing in their color. Cartel outfits have more of a militant and/or cowboy dress style. Members are not restricted to these two styles but should do their best to maintain a unique look to differentiate them from your typical street gang. The cartel’s designated color must be present on at least these 2 articles of clothing and be clearly identifiable from the front and back.

G3 - CONFLICTS & DISPUTES

G3.1 - IMPROPER INITIATION OF CONFLICT - Initiating prolonged conflicts and disputes with other crime groups over reasons that originate from an out of character perspective is prohibited. Any crime group intending to start conflict with another should always have an appropriate reason and initiation (10.3) to do so.

G3.2 - CONFLICT INVOLVEMENT - Criminal Organization involvement in shootouts with police or other groups is strictly limited to the group(s) involved. No outside groups may interfere with the scene. You are not allowed to insert your group into another group’s conflict. This includes when the scene has concluded and parties are waiting for medical treatment.

G3.4 - GANG CONFLICT DURATION - If two crime groups engage in violent combat, each group has the opportunity to initiate once. The first group starts the combat, and the other group has the option to retaliate, making it a total of two events. If the conflict remains unresolved after these two violent interactions, it will escalate into a gang war (G3.5). Gang conflict needs different reasons to start.

G3.5 - GANG WAR - A gang war is defined as conflict that exceeds the gang conflict duration (G3.4). All gang wars must be discussed between both leaders to agree on terms and duration prior to the start of any war. Once agreed, it is the responsibility of the leaders to communicate the agreed terms/duration to their own gang.

G4 - CRIME GROUP BEHAVIORS

The following offers a guideline for the operations and behaviors of each type of Criminal Organization. We recognize that every situation is different, so some situations may necessitate groups to act outside of their normal operating patterns. However, this guideline describes the general structure for the day-to-day operations of each crime group.

G4.1 - STREET GANGS - Street gangs typically have a loose and informal structure to them. They tend to have a strong sense of pride in their group’s identity and territory. Street Gangs are primarily involved in (but are not limited to) street level crimes such as theft, drug dealing, graffiti/vandalism, turf wars, etc.

G4.2 - MOTORCYCLE CLUB - Motorcycle Clubs usually have a more formalized hierarchy, recognizing a club president and vice president as their central leaders. They tend to have a strong brotherhood amongst their members who all share an interest in motorcycles. Their focus can sometimes be on profit, but largely revolves around maintaining their club's image and reputation.

G4.3 - MAFIA - Mafias also typically have a formalized hierarchy, revolving around a mob boss, underboss, and capos. Members of the mafia act in secret, carefully hiding their crimes and any involvement they may have with the family. They have an emphasis on loyalty, respect and spreading their influence throughout the city. Mafias partake mostly in organized crime such as money laundering, drug trafficking, and heists.

G4.4 - DRUG CARTELS - Drug cartels usually have a military-style hierarchy, operating around a drug lord and his lieutenants. Cartels are always looking to expand their distribution network, hoping to profit from their large-scale drug productions. They work to maintain control over their trafficking routes and are always willing to resort to extreme violence when necessary.

G5 - MANAGEMENT DIRECTIVES

G5.1 - CEASEFIRE - At any point, a senior staff can determine a ceasefire for any gang conflict or war. Once informed, engaging gangs will stop all combat and violent interactions. Ceasefires are enforced by the senior staff team and must be followed until a point where the ceasefire either expired or is revoked by staff.

G5.2 - DISBANDMENT - The senior staff team retains full authority to dissolve and disband a whitelisted gang.

G5.3 - GANG STRIKES - The senior staff team can administer a gang strike due to poor conduct by a whitelisted gang. After 3 gang strikes, the whitelisted gang will be disbanded. A strike expires after 90 days of when it was administered.

G5.4 - WEAPON BLUEPRINTS - When a gang becomes whitelisted, they receive a weapon-specific blueprint for their bench.
